Digital Days
Grab your vinyl, audio/video tapes and other analog media and head to Digital Days! Happening August 11-15, 2008. You'll leave with new media in a digital format of your choosing to use in Blackboard courses, web sites, research papers and presentations. You can even record an audio or video introduction while you're here!
Celebration of Teaching & Learning
Focused on the theme "Student Engagement: It's Happening Here," the 2008 Celebration features a keynote presentation by Dr. Todd Zakrajsek and afternoon sessions led by competitively selected U of L faculty. Additional highlights include a "2008 Faculty Favorites" video and an exhibit area you won't want to miss. The 2008 Celebration will be held on Friday, October 17 at the Shelby Campus.
Clicker Conference. It's Happening Here.
The Delphi Center will hold the first-ever conference on classroom response systems on Saturday, November 15. In addition to keynotes by Dr. Timothy Stelzer, inventor of the iClicker, and Dr. Douglas Duncan, author of Clickers in the Classroom, attendees will experience concurrent sessions led by faculty members from California to Maine.
